It is now 9 days till the last day that Microsoft will support Windows XP as a lot of readers will be aware of due to the press and an announcement which comes through via Windows Update.
This is serious if you plan to use your XP computer to access the internet.
What it means is from April 9th onwards your PC will become more and more vulnerable to website attack. Most of the Windows Updates you have been receiving all these years have been to plug holes which Microsoft has been made aware of that hackers can use to break into your computer from websites which look harmless. This hole plugging is what is going to stop.
So from April 9th 2014 there will be more and more holes and so there will be more and more opportunities for your PC to be broken in to.
It is time to move up to a new operating system if you have Windows XP.
